1958 Custom Jeep Willys Rock Crawler It's time to part with my some of my toys. This Jeep has been an absolute blast and will take you anywhere you have the balls to go. This rock crawler has been a center fold in one of the off-roading magazines a while back. It is built very well and can withstand whatever sort of abuse you can throw at it. I have NEVER had to replace anything on this Jeep since I have owned it. The previous owner is the builder of it, and he did an amazing job. All I have done to this jeep is changed the oil, lubed everything when needed, and put gas in it. If you're looking for a fun toy to cruise the trails in, this is it. I have also used this Jeep to drive in parades and what not, it always draws a crowd. Where ever you point the tires it will take you there. This is not some cobbled together piece of junk. All parts used to make this crawler are top of the line. The V-6 has plenty of power with the aid of the 5.29 gears and it's great with fuel consumption. The only flaws with the jeep that I can think of right now is that the steering wheel is a little loose (has play from side to side), but still works just fine. And the power steering pump is getting a little weak. I drive the jeep the way it is with no problem. So these flaws aren't that big of a deal I just want to mention them. I have never rolled this Jeep or anything like that. Most of the wheeling with this Jeep has been playing around at slow speeds crawling over fallen trees and what not. I have not abused this Jeep. This Jeep is not street legal. The Jeep has an aftermarket monster tach, oil pressure gauge, and temp gauge. The oil pressure gauge does not work. It never has since the day it was installed. The Jeep also has an aftermarket stereo system that can be heard very well while cruising the trails. The 4x4, brakes, tranny all work just like they should. There is absolutely no slop in the transmission or torque converter. It locks in gear and does not slip one bit! The tranny has a shift kit in it that works well and hits hard when it shifts.
