Next up , attach the soldered up Unsped shield to the Arduino. Cut the proper length of wire you need, attach the wires to the header connectors, make sure you have PIN1 (wire1) and hook the IN on the Unsped, to IN on the board. Do the same for OUT.
Hook up your USB Cable to the unsped, then to your computer. You should see theВ В start up sequence.
В Fire up Arduinome Serial. You’ll need to download Monome_Base , and MAX 5.0 runtime. Extract Monome Base and run it. You’ll need to set ArduinomeSerial prefix to whatever monome base says (I believe its /test). I usually set it on toggle, and start pressing buttons. That way I can make sure all LEDs are working, AND i can view my button presses.
Thats pretty much it! After you’ve verified everything works, its time to build your enclosure. The below gallery is a compilation of my build. I used 1/4″ plexi for the bottom, put 3 blue LEDs and hooked them up to the arduino. When the 128 is plugged in, the bottom glows blue. The enclosure is 5/8ths Pine, and the top plate is aluminum.
