My recipe of Ciabatta calls for a yeast starter. Unfortunately, I don't know how to make a yeast starter, so if I just substitute it with an ordinary instant dry yeast, what will be my proportions?
for 1/2 cup starter follow this formula and try it out.
1/2 cup tepid water (100 to 108 degrees)
2 packages dry yeast
1/4 cup AP flour
Stir the yeast and flour into the water into the water. Let rest and get bubbly
