I am making sourdough starter for bread and it's been almost a week and there is bubbles in it but i've heard that it's supposed to get a froth...is it ok to use yet or should I wait?
Your starter sounds a bit on the weak side. You should try feeding it once every 12 hours. Every time you feed it, remove 1/2 cup of the original starter, discard and add 1 c. flour and about 1/2 c. of water or enough to give you the thickness/wateriness
