You are bidding on exactly what you see pictured and listed. This is a 1996 Chevy Impala SS with heavy damage to the driver's side rear, and some damage to the front driver's side fender in a NO RESERVE auction. I did my best with the pictures. The car was parked on the side of the street and hit be another vehicle that had lost control. An insurance adjuster produced an almost 10K estimate to repair the car and as such the insurance company declared it a loss. I have the title which is still clear (not salvage) but I was told that if the car were to be repaired, I would not be able to obtain collision on the car unless it passed an inspection to insure that the repairs were completed accordingly.

Since this vehilce was hit on the passanger's side rear back in 2003 (a vin search should show the exact dates) with a little over 7K in repairs completed, I've made the decision not to have repairs performed this time around and would consider it to be a "donar car" for parts. If it gives any indication to the impact of the hit - the driver's side rear frame is pushed to the gas tank. I do not have the time or space to part out with the car so I'm auctioning the vehicle as is and WILL NOT REMOVE ANYTHING so please be kind and do not ask.

I originally purchased the car in Novemebr of 2001 with 70,489 miles (I still have all paperwork and original pictures). The car now has just under 98K miles so do the math.8 years - 28K miles put on the car. I took care of it and hope that the pictures will show that despite the damage. I've replaced the radiator, front steering components, had the transmission serviced, fluid in the posi rear changed, installed a flowmaster exhaust (which is now only half good), new BFGoodrich tires about 4 years back (which actually show signs of dry rot), all new shocks, a Pioneer CD player, new speakers, an Avital alarm w/remote starter, and tint to the back windows.

Remote Car Starter Problems..Need Help..!?

Hi guys..I just got a Remote Car Starter (Avital 4200) installed on my car.I am having a problem with the starter now and want to see if you guys know what it can be..When they started my car with the remote car starter at the place it started up fine and everything and it drove smooth..I went to Advanced Auto to get something real quick and when I got out I started it with the key and it acted weird but then I drove and it was smooth...So I'm home and I start it with the key again,then start to take off and then it acts weird and starts to make a puttin sound and jerks a little and the check engine light blinks, then comes on and stays lit...So I stop the car,turn it off and then start it back up using the remote starter and it starts up like it usually did before it was installed,then I drive and it drives fine but check engine light stays on..I am bringing it back to the installed tomorrow but they said they have no idea what it can be...Does anybody know what could be happening..?
Okay car was okay for 1 day and now it is acting up again..I got the check engine light checked out and they said it came up as a cylinder misfire..What could be the problem...?..I think I may get the remote car starter tooken out and get it put it in by another installer..
I don't know if they disconnected a ground wire..They said they never had this problem before and they don't know what it is..

Something in the wiring is not hooked up right. Did they disconnect a ground?
