I got an estimate on these two jobs..the breakdown is radiator system is 6.00 pre mix coolant gallon

the other job consists of this
transmission fluid flush
transmission fluid flush up to 15 quarts 30.00

which is a total of 99.00
now they told me this must be done on my car as it is a safety hazard..i am sure this has never been done on my car i have about 70 thousand miles on my car...what exactly does this mean and why does this cost so much? Are their cheaper places i could go to get this done?

well thank you all very much you just saved me about 200 hundred dollars i will call around and get some other estimates to get these things done they shouldn't cost this much
if your car only has around 70 thousand on it it doesn't need to be done,someones trying to take advantage of you,and its not critical you have this done,you don't need to worry about the cost of it because i can tell you at 70 k it wont need it, i own a shop,and do this 6 days a week,someone is trying to take advantage of you on this,they know this isn't necessary with that little of miles on it,i been at this for 36 years,and i have never seen one yet with that low of miles need what they say yours does,there just going to take your money,and that's about it,good luck ,and be careful there's people out there that will take advantage of you if you let them,take care now,and good luck.
