We got to sleep in a bit this morning since we thought there would be no rush to get to Louisville after all the flooding there yesterday. We slept until after 7:30. After some breakfast at the hotel Eddie and I headed with his car back to T&T Body Shop to get his car up on a lift so we could tighten the bolts on his steering rack. During this it was discovered his upper radiator hose had been rubbed through from constant contact with his alternator bracket, and was squirting anti freeze out. So we then loosened the radiator cap to relieve the pressure and drove back to Seymour for a new hose. We finally succeeded in finding one at Advance Auto that we could cut shorter to fit with the correct curves, refilled the coolant, and were on our way back to the hotel to meet the others and head south for Louisville. Got into town about 1:30 and went to the Cardinal Restaurant for some lunch before going to Papa John's Stadium to pick up our packets. The tripmeter on our GPS showed we had driven 910 miles from home. At the registration I bought two NSRA banners to give away as door prizes at our car show on the 15th. When we left Papa John's, we took the girls to a sewing store not far from our hotel so they could do some shopping. The guys walked over to Baskin-Robbins for ice cream. With all the flooding with waist-deepwater all over Louisville yesterday, there is hardly a sign of high water anywhere that we've been around town. We came in on the north end of town and our hotel is on the east side, so we did do some driving around, and saw very little signs of flooding. Incredible! Tonight eleven of us went out to eat at a place called Texas Longhorn. The food was very good, but we had such a late lunch that none of us three Rangers was even hungry yet. Tomorrow night we're going to "Smoky Bones," a ribs place. After we got back to the hotel about 9:30, I went back down to clean up the car.
